Cowboy Butter Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt (for chicken)
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 1 clove Garlic (minced)
- 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt (for Cowboy Butter)
- 1 tablespoon fresh Chives (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Recipe
- Heat the oven to 425ºF and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and fit a wire rack inside.
- Pat the wings dry with paper towels and season them with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Arrange them on the wire rack with the skin side up.
- Roast for about 45-50 minutes or until the wings are cooked through and the skin is crispy.
- Before the wings are ready, start preparing the Cowboy Butter.
- Take a large bowl and add unsalted butter, garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, Dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, fresh chives, parsley, and lemon juice, and stir well.
- Now, add the cooked wings to the prepared Cowboy Butter, and toss well.
- Combine the roasted wings and the butter well.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
