- 1 head of cabbage
- 2 tablespoons light olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (adjust to taste)

- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- Chopped parsley (to garnish)
Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut the stem ends of the cabbage head, then cut it into 1-inch thick slices, creating “steaks.”
- Arrange all the cut pieces in the prepared baking tray.
- Whisk the light olive oil, salt, and ground black pepper together, and brush both sides of the cabbage steaks.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic onto each cabbage steak, then cover the tray with aluminium foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until the cabbage turns soft and tender.
- Remove the steaks from the oven, drizzle the lemon juice, and garnish with parsley.
