Ingredients
- 3–4 pounds beef chuck roast (or brisket, round roast)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3–4 carrots, cut into chunks
- 3–4 potatoes, cut into large pieces
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. If you want extra flavor, sear the roast in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes on each side before adding it to the slow cooker.
