- Mayo for serving
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Recipe

- Take a large bowl, and add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Using your hands, work the mixture until well combined.

- Place the patties on the grill and close the lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the patties have dark brown grilled marks.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes (about 7-8 minutes total), or until the patties have deep, dark grill marks.
- Remove the patties from the grill.
- Smear the buns with the mayonnaise and place the patty on the bun. Top the patty with sliced tomatoes, lettuce leaves, and a bun.
- Serve arm and enjoy.
Tips
- Don’t press the patties with a splatula, as it squeezes out the juices.
- For medium-rare and medium-well burgers, cook the patties for about 6 and 9 minutes, respectively.
- Always allow the patties to rest after removing them from the grill.
