Christmas Crack Recipe
- 160g (1 cup, lightly packed) brown sugar
- 125g salted butter, chopped
- 2 x 180g blocks of dark chocolate, melted
- 100g white chocolate, melted
- 50g green and red M&M’s Minis
- Silver cachous, to decorate
- 6 Arnott’s Salada Original Crispbread
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a 20 x 30 cm slice pan with baking paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the long sides. Lay the crispbread evenly across the base of the pan.
- In a small saucepan, add the sugar and butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring often, until the butter melts and the mixture becomes smooth. Bring it to a boil and cook, stirring, for about 30 seconds until slightly thick.
- Carefully pour the hot sugar mixture over the crispbread, spreading it evenly. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and pour the dark chocolate over the top. Use a knife or spatula to spread it out evenly. Let it sit until the chocolate sets.
- Drizzle the white chocolate over the top and sprinkle with M&M’s and cachous. Let it set completely, then break into pieces to serve.
